Shipping Policy

Applicable sales tax is charged for customers in South Carolina or Tennessee. If we are shipping to either state and you are tax exempt, please fax your tax exempt information to 865-675-5907 and call 888-531-3017 to place your order.

Although every effort is made to process and ship your order immediately, shipping time is dependent on stock availability. Though highly unusual, if an out-of-stock or back-order situation arises, we advise the customer as soon as possible.

We do not ship COD and cannot mail to P.O. Boxes. A physical street address will be required for delivery. We do not ship to APO addresses.

We utilize the best possible method for all deliveries, and may use UPS, FedEx, United States Postal Service, or other delivery service depending on the circumstances. Sorry, the choice of shipping carrier used for any particular order is made from the warehouse from which the order ships and cannot be chosen in advance.

For very large shipments, the products may be shipped directly from the manufacturer via the common carrier of their choice.

The shipment must be checked carefully and note any visible damage or shortage on freight bill before signing to facilitate possible claim against carrier. Concealed loss or damage should be reported to carrier upon discovery. Do not return any merchandise without prior written authorization.

 

Refund & Return Policy

We want every Discount Flags and Poles purchase you make to be a satisfactory experience. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us and we will make every attempt to achieve your satisfaction. If we cannot, we will promptly provide you with a return authorization and shipping instructions and replace or refund your purchase subject to the terms below.

Returns will not be accepted without prior authorization.

WASHING OR DEFACING ANY ITEM PURCHASED FROM DISCOUNT FLAGS AND POLES AUTOMATICALLY CONSTITUTES AS NON-REFUNDABLE NON-RETURNABLE.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY: The shipment must be checked carefully and note any visible damage or shortage on freight bill before signing to facilitate possible claim against carrier. Concealed loss or damage should be reported to carrier upon discovery. Do not return any merchandise without prior written authorization.

If flag poles are to be stored for a long period before installation, we suggest a dry location with low humidity. Even when stored inside, it is best to unwrap the pole and store in an area where damage is unlikely to occur. Consignee is responsible for insuring the conformance of delivered material to his order or governing specifications. Installing improper equipment is done at purchaser’s own risk and expense.

Please allow 7 to 10 business days for your return to be processed. To help us process your return in a timely fashion please include the packing slip or copy of invoice. If you do not have either please put a note inside with order number, name, address and telephone number. Thank you.

We reserve the right to charge a 10% re-stocking fee on any large orders that are returned. A 10% fee will be charged on items returned without the original packaging.

FLAGS: Request to return unused item(s) within 14 days of receipt for full refund LESS shipping/handling fees. Flags that you have paid extra to add a pole hem and/or fringe are NON-REFUNDABLE.

FLAG CASES: Request to return unused item(s) within 14 days of receipt for full refund LESS shipping/handling fees and $10 restock fee. If you have affixed the face plate and /or a medallion onto the case or the pedestal you CAN NOT RETURN the merchandise.

FLAG BUNTING: Flag bunting is NON RETURNABLE, NON REFUNDABLE, AND NON EXCHANGEABLE.

FLAGPOLES: Request to return unused item(s) within 14 days of receipt for full refund LESS shipping/handling fees. There is a $15 restock fee for all in ground flagpoles. There is no restock fee on indoor and wall mount residential flagpoles. Please contact us if you need to return a large one piece flagpole, as these ship directly to the flagpole factory. Customers will have to pay for the freight to return their commercial flag pole. There is also a 10% restock fee on commercial grade and a 15% restock fee on commercial one piece flag poles. Poles shipped via Freight must be inspected by the receiver before you sign the delivery acceptance form. Discount Flags and Poles is not liable for damaged or missing items when shipped via freight if you sign for it accepting responsibility of delivery. However, if you notice something is missing or damaged upon receiving, before a signature is given you should refuse delivery and contact us immediately.

DEFECTS: Defective items must be reported within 14 days of receipt. Discount Flags and Poles will exchange the defective item(s) if reported within 14 days. Some items may have a natural flaw which is not considered a defect. Discount Flags and Poles will not be liable for defective items NOT reported within the 14 day policy.

CUSTOM ORDERS: Custom orders, such as flags and lapel pins, are non-refundable/non-returnable.

SPECIAL ORDERS: Special orders are non-refundable/non-returnable. This includes custom items, embroidered, headers, fly end corners, engraving plates, flags that you paid extra to add a pole hem and/or fringe to, and any international or state flags over 5ft x 8ft. Larger flags are not a stock item, they are made to order. Discount Flags and Poles will not be liable or held responsible for misspelled orders placed online by the customer. Please proofread and look over your order before sending it through.

STICK FLAGS: Military, Historical, State & International Stick flags are non-returnable/non-refundable. Stick Flags are not suitable for young children. We try our best to have all the stick flag staffs and tops look alike, however some substitutions may be made in the event we awaiting a shipment to arrive. We reserve the right to make these substitutions.

SHIPPING/HANDLING FEES: Non-refundable.

RE-STOCK FEE: None except for flag cases, were a $10 fee applies, and outdoor in ground flagpoles were a $15 fee applies. Commercial grade sectional poles have a 10% restock fee and Commercial 1 piece poles have a 15% Restock fee.
